As a UK company, we are governed and subject to all relevant UK laws.

An order for Prescription Glasses placed by you, the customer, with us, WebGlasses, constitutes a legally binding contract to purchase the goods ordered by you, in accord with information given to us by you.
This does not affect your statutory rights.

CONDITIONS OF SALE

You must be 18 years old or over and not be partialy sighted or registered blind.
Your prescription must not be over 2 years old.

REFUNDS/RETURNS/GUARANTEE

Once your order for Glasses has been accepted by us, you have entered into a legally binding contract to purchase any ordered Glasses from us.
The only reasons for refund/return of Glasses are as follows:

a) Faulty Glasses frames: a replacement frame will be supplied and fitted at
no extra cost. Please inform us upon receipt of goods.
If this is rejected, a refund of 50% of the total purchase price
will apply (lenses are a custom made item as per your instructions
and so these are a strictly no-refund item)
b) Incorrect Glasses frames supplied: in the unlikely event that this occurs,
please contact us upon receipt of order.
Any cost of carriage is at your own expense (exceptions to a + b)
ALL returns must be sent back within 7 days of receiving goods.

LIABILITY

We are not liable for any errors made by you when entering prescription details online, including typing errors. Please ensure your details are correct before submitting your order, as mistakes cannot be rectified afterwards.
We are not liable for any failure of Glasses to arrive due to postal delays/strikes etc, or for anything that falls out of our area of control.

PRODUCT PRICES

The price payable for all the Glasses ordered are set out on our website at the time you place your order and includes packing but NOT postage. The cost of postage is given as 2 choices, and must be selected at the time of ordering. All revelent taxes are included.

The comparison prices for Glasses showing how much you will save have been assessed by taking the prices of comparable Glasses at 4 major high street branches. An average price has then been calculated. We aim to provide as accurate as possible picture of high street opticians pricing policy. However, we cannot be held responsible for any inaccurate claims in pricing for any Glasses advertised on this website.

PAYMENT TERMS

We must receive payment in full for the Glasses you order before your order is accepted and processed.

DELIVERY OF GOODS

We aim to deliver Glasses within 7 working days of your order being accepted. However, no liability can be accepted by us for Glasses that are lost in the post etc, and are late because of circumstances beyond our control. (such as postal strikes etc)
If the Glasses are delayed for any reason, we will endeavor to contact by email to let you know they been placed on back order but the delay would be minimal.
All time scales given are approximate and subject to change.
If you do not receive your Glasses within a reasonable period of time, please contact us on 01325 257895 and we will try to resolve the situation as soon as possible.

AVAILABILITY

While we try to hold sufficient stock to supply all orders, due to high demand, a range may not be available, but has already been purchased by you. In this case, the following choices will be offered to you:
a) we will contact you by email first, issueing a statement about the
products unavailabilty and placing your order on back issue
and will give you a new approximate delivery time. You will
be asked to confirm if this is acceptable and an email must
be returned to us within 24 hours of an email being sent to
you. If we don't hear from you, we will go ahead and place
the order and you will then be liable for the order placed
and payment will be taken from your nominated card.
b) If the product will be unavailable for sometime, we will offer
you an alternative in a similar style of the same value or
greater.
c) you may cancel your order and a full refund be given.

VALUE ADD TAX

All revelent charges and taxes are included in the total price
shown.

IMAGES OF GLASSES

Care has been taken during photography and editing of our product images to show the true colour of each frame but all frame colours may vary slightly from that shown due to the differences in monitor/LCD characteristics.
Logos on the lenses of all designer frames and on some non-designer frames are for marketing purposes only and as the lenses are only dummy ones, will not appear on the completed spectacles.
All images, codes, layout and styles are under copyright laws and are under sole ownership of WebGlasses. Reproduction, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited without the express permission of WebGlasses.
